The IBSA Jr.NBA Academy features a curriculum-based ten week program for beginners that will introduce young athletes to basketball, while fostering a love of play and structured learning. Kids will be able to explore:
- Introduces Basketball Fundamentals: The program provides a foundational introduction to basketball, teaching essential skills such as movement patterns, ball handling, and teamwork in a structured, beginner-friendly environment.
- Encourages Fun and Learning: Through skill-based games and activities, young athletes experience the joy of play while learning, helping them build a love for basketball and an enthusiasm for structured sports.
- Builds Teamwork and Confidence: The Jr. NBA Academy emphasizes core values like teamwork, resilience, and confidence, fostering personal growth alongside sports skills in a welcoming, supportive setting.
- Provides Quality Player Gear: Each participant receives a complete Jr. NBA player package, including a reversible jersey, age-appropriate basketball, and branded gear, creating a memorable and motivating start to their basketball journey.
These elements combine to offer young athletes a comprehensive and engaging start in basketball, promoting physical and personal development.
All in a safe and welcoming environment. Our partnership with Canada Basketball and Jr.NBA comes with a complete player package for each registrant and includes:
- Reversible jersey
- Size appropriate basketball
- Special seasonal gear (ex. backpack, headband)
