IBSA Basketball operates a variety of programs to provide the most optimal development pathway for youth athletes.

  • JR.NBA Academy – for athletes aged 4-9 that are looking for an introduction to basketball. Athletes with zero or limited basketball experience.
  • IBSA Academy Training – for athletes aged 8+. Our main development program designed for athletes to build their skillsets from the ground up.
  • IBSA 3on3 Leagues – for athletes aged 8+. 3on3 Leagues are ideal for athletes with some training experience that are looking for gameplay opportunities.
  • IBSA Shooting Clinics – recommended for all athletes. Specialty clinics that focus on the finer details of shooting technique.
  • IBSA Skills Camps – for athletes aged 8-14. Day camp programs that are a great way to stay sharp over holiday breaks.
  • High Performance – for selected athletes. This program is an invite only training program for athletes identified during Academy Training sessions.

If you have any other questions, we are happy to discuss. Please contact us.

Group 1 Academy sessions are for ages 8-12, while Group 2 Academy sessions are for athletes aged 13-18. Each location has a unique schedule for Academy Training which you can find under our locations tab.

We have three membership options available for Academy Training:

  • Basic (Once per week training)
  • Plus (Twice per week training)
  • Unlimited (3+ times per week training)

Your attendance will be based on the membership you’ve chosen during registration.

Session numbers will vary depending on the program, time of year and the gym space we are using. We maintain a high instructor to child ratio to ensure each athlete is receiving coaching, feedback and progress reports.

Our Academy program operates year round and you can register at any time. For our seasonal programs like 3on3 Leagues, Shooting Clinics or Camps, please contact us.

Improvement is not always linear for young athletes and can be subtle. We recommend athletes train with us at least twice per week for proper development – and improvement should be seen after the first month. Our coaches are always evaluating the progression of our students and are happy to provide feedback to parents after each session.
